Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are members of the AFC East Division. Founded in 1966 as an expansion team, they joined the NFL after its 1970 merger with the AFL. The Dolphins quickly became one of NFL winner teams. In 1972, the team posted the NFL's only perfect season with a 17-0 record topped by a victory in Super Bowl VII. The Dolphins have been unceasing playoff competitors and, since the merge in the 1970’s, they have earned the best winning percentage of any team in the league.
